Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad reportedly dodged all questions related to his alleged religious remarks made towards veteran Sri Lankan batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan during a recently concluded ODI series between the two countries.
Shehzad arrived with the Lahore Lions squad in Delhi on Tuesday afternoon to participate in the Champions League T20. And as the batsman came out of the International terminal standing with his luggage, he was questioned about his alleged religious comments to Dilshan, The Dawn reported.
However, Shehzad chose to look through the scribes and decided to completely ignore their queries as one of Pakistan's officials told the media not to hound the batsman.
Shehzad's Lahore Lions will take on Sri Lanka's Southern Express, which features Dilshan, the report added.
