ShopClues to offer virtual shopping experience with 'Image Search Tool'

ShopClues, India's largest managed marketplace launched 'Image Search Tool' on its Android app today. The tool enables advanced visual recognition of a certain product and shows up more options that are similar in terms of color, style, pattern, design and material.

The visual recognition feature has been implemented across all relevant categories and ensures a more enhanced virtual buying experience like never before.

After the introduction of the Image Search Tool, ShopClues will also look at building more on its artificial intelligence and machine learning components. The overarching goal of the company is to ensure that the app intuitively learns about the shopping preferences of users and the more they shop on it, the better their experience is.

The company is also looking at leveraging technology that makes the app capable of giving different weights to different parameters for a more comprehensive product search and discovery.
