Simon Cowell has reportedly hinted that his baby with pregnant gal-pal Lauren Silverman was actually planned to coincide with the premiere of the X Factor musical.
The 53-year-old music mogul admitted that although 'uncomfortable circumstances' have been surrounding his happy news, he is delighted he can now publicly gush about becoming a father, Metro.co.uk reported.
Cowell revealed that he was very happy once he got used to the idea of being a father, and is looking forward to the time when his child can walk and talk.
