Simon Cowell's pregnant lover's step dad comes to daughter's defense

Lauren Silverman's step father has shown his support for his pregnant daughter's affair with Simon Cowell, saying that she was not happy in a marriage where hubby, Andrew Silverman, was never present.

Stewart Eisenberg, a Miami-based real-estate developer, told the New York Daily News that you can't cuddle up at night with your Gucci bags and a credit card.

Eisenberg said that Lauren's marriage started breaking down in recent years as her husband spent more and more time away from home.
