Lady Gaga has confessed that she was floored to see Madonna singing her song 'Born This Way' on stage.
The 27-year-old admitted that she has looked up to the 55-year-old singer for a long time and isn't sure what her intention was behind that but she doesn't really care, Contactmusic reported.
The 'Poker face' hitmaker said that all it meant to her was that Madonna was singing her song on stage.
She said that as a punk rocker from New York, she is basically hoping that she would become so good that one day she would p**s off Madonna.
Gaga had come under fire in 2011, when critics claimed the similarity in her number one single and the Queen of Pop's 1989 hit 'Express yourself'
Subsequently during a show on her 'MDNA tour' in 2012, Madonna performed Gaga's single 'Born This Way' onstage, without commenting on whether the impromptu performance was a tribute to Gaga or a jab at her.
