At least six people were killed and another one was injured after six cars were involved in a collision here on Sunday.
Six cars, including a seven-seater taxi, were involved in the multiple-vehicle crash in an underpass on Lee Bank Middleway, according to West Midlands Ambulance Service.
While the driver of the taxi and his female passenger died at the scene, the male passenger died at the hospital.
In addition to this, three men from another car died on the spot.
Describing the crash site as "extremely complex and distressing," a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman stated that it involved three primary cars, in addition to another three who attempted to evade the earlier collision.
A probe has been launched into the incident.
