Six players from Ukranian football club Shakhtar Donetsk have reportedly refused to return to the European country after a pre-season friendly in France.
The players missed their flight back to Ukraine and are currently AWOL in France, according to reported.
Five players out of the six have been named and all of them are of South American nationality, The Mirror reported.
The French network has reported that the players are refusing to return to the Ukraine because of the political turmoil in the country, in which their club Donetsk is heavily involved.
Brazilian's Douglas Costa, Fred, Dentinho, Alex Teixiera and Argentinian Facundo Ferreyra are the five players who have been named.
All of the missing players had been purchased in multi-million pound transfer deals and are widely knows as the team's biggest stars, the report added.
