Snapdeal, India's largest online marketplace, today announced its collaboration with Nikasha Tawadey Khemka, a contemporary pret and couture label that retails from leading fashion boutiques in India and abroad.
As part of Snapdeal's brand revamp, Nikasha has designed the new brand look for Snapdeal's delivery team.
The designer uniform for Snapdeal is a beautiful mix of strong aesthetics and functionality, and uses a color blocking element that has been taken from the logo itself. This gives a sleek and edgy feel to the designed outfits. The complete gear includes Nehru-collared T-shirts, accessories like waist pouch, cap and delivery bag in the cheery Vermello brand colour.
The new look of the logistics staff takes cues from the brand's warm and vibrant 'Unbox Zindagi' positioning and the promise of a distinct consumer experience that it represents.
Speaking about the revamped brand look, Kanika Kalra, Vice President Marketing at Snapdeal said, "Members of our delivery team are the face of the brand, when they deliver the much anticipated boxes to our customers' doorsteps. Nikasha's comfortable and trendy T-shirts, jackets and bags will help us brand and own the delivery moment - making the experience of the consumer receiving the unique Snapdeal Vermello Box even more complete. Our delivery team has one of the toughest jobs in the festive season, as they stretch themselves and ensure that all the orders reach in time. A designer outfit is also a reminder to the delivery team of how they are a very important messenger of our brand, and how we are extremely proud of them."
Commenting on the experience of designing the Snapdeal delivery staff uniform, designer Nikasha Tawadey Khemka said, "Our collaboration with Snapdeal has been an enriching experience with a shared, aesthetic vision. Snapdeal's delivery team plays a pivotal part in ensuring that the emotion and intention inherent to the purchase is also reflected at the point of delivery. The comfortable and stylish uniform extends the distinctive brand elements to the team gear and will reinforce the brand's message by linking the delivery moment to the entire Snapdeal experience."
Established in 2006, Nikasha specializes in an inherent Indian-ness that celebrates handcrafted traditions. This design aesthetic is visible in the logo elements and outfit look carried across Snapdeal team attire and accessories.
