Looks like Sofia Richie is making her 'special relationship' with Justin Bieber very public.
In a recent interview with Billboard, when the daughter of Lionel Richie was asked about her equation with Bieber, answered, "We have a special relationship. Justin is very easy to talk to, and that's hard to find with people in Los Angeles," reports E! Online.
The two recently took off to Mexico to celebrate her 18th birthday amidst her tight schedule between modeling, music and having personal time to herself.
Every teenager has their own set of pressure and confusion during the teenage years but the 18-year old model appears to love her current career path even when she explains that her dad sometimes tries to slyly steer her toward music by inviting over famous musicians, including brother-in-law Joel Madden.
Richie , who is probably known best for her relationship with the 'Sorry' singer, has been playing piano since she was seven and singing since she was five.
However, the pressure she received from people expecting her to likewise follow in the footsteps of her father, steamed after a while.
"It was the best I could have asked for, but there was too much pressure," she told.
"Everyone had their own idea of what my music should sound like, and I just wanted to be an individual. I stepped back and said, 'I need to re-evaluate this,'" the model added.
On a related note, Richie's relationship with Bieber came under the spotlight when 22-year-old singer and his former girlfriend Selena Gomez embarked on a vicious feud on Instagram after he posted photoes with his present lady-love.
