Somalia's President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has warned similar attacks, like Nairobi mall massacre, will happen again as the Al Qaeda-linked terror group al-Shahab continues its fight for dominance.
Mohamud said al-Shahab might conduct this kind of brutal attacks again and again as they have special units to brainwash young people for participating in jihad, the Daily Star reports.
The death toll in the Kenya mall siege was raised to 72 on Thursday, after the number of Brits killed was revised from six to five, the report added.
Officials said many more victims could be discovered as investigators are sifting through the remains of the building to find 71 missing people.
