Sonakshi Sinha walks for Manish Malhotra on Day 1 of Lakme Fashion Week 2014

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha opened Lakme Fashion Week 2014 by walking the ramp for renowned designer Manish Malhotra.

The five day long fashion show started with Malhotra's exquisite summer collection, 'A Summer affair'.

"It was very beautiful. I think Manish has come up with a fabulous collection, very young, fresh, and summery. I opened the show actually, so, it was quite nice. Manish finds ways to surprise people. He had thought of doing something different and he did it," said Sinha.

Bollywood actresses Kangana Ranaut and Kajol were also present. Ace designers Tarun Tahiliani, Anita Dongre, Anju Modi, Shantanu and Nikhil, Neeta Lulla, Narendra Kumar and Krishna Mehta are likely to display their collections at the Fashion Week 2014.

Meanwhile, Malhotra said Sinha was talented and there was no stopping for her.

"What is interesting about Sonakshi is the change she is going through. From a designer's and audience's point of view, I think that's the most interesting thing she is doing. I think with her talent, her looks and the focus she is giving, it's just that no one can stop Sonakshi," said Malhotra.
