Sony has acquired the rights for the upcoming WWII based nonfiction book by John Bruning 'Indestructible
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Mark Gordon will produce the film based on the book, which centers on the legendary U.S. Air Force pilot Paul "Pappy" Gunn, who was an advisor to the Air Force during the Pacific War.
Gunn's family was locked up by the Japanese in the Philippines at the infamous Santo Tomas Internment camp.
The book is scheduled to hit shelves in 2016 through Hachette Books.
