Californian manufacturers Aerofex have developed a speeder bike 'Aero-X' just like Star Wars-style, which can float over ground at speed of 42mph.

The flyer will require only a weekend training to learn all the functioning of this futuristic vehicle, Mirror.co.uk reported.

The machine will have carbon fiber rotors instead of wheels with steering like a motorbike and it can fly up to 9ft above ground but only for about 75 minutes on a full tank.

Mark De Roche, Aerofex founder said that Aero-X's has the intuitive system, low cost, and unique capabilities making it suitable for activities like disaster relief, search and rescue, and patrolling borders and game parks.

It is being planned to launch the vehicle in 2017.
