All the questions regarding the mysterious cat Lillian Bubbles will soon get an answer, as American scientists have launched a crowd funding campaign to raise money for the experiment.

As per this experiment, molecular biologists will extract the kitty's blood sample to analyze her DNA and look for any mutations that may be causing her unique and magical appearance, reported E! Online.

The campaign has reached its goal of 6,500 dollars, but is still looking to raise more money to take the project even further.

An internet sensation, Lil' Bub was born with a birth defect that makes it permanently dwarfed, perennially appearing as a tiny, cuddly kitten with short legs, bulging eyes, a tongue that sticks out with 22 toes.
