Tottenham Hotspur secured a fifth successive away Premier League victory and moved up to fifth place after striker Emmanuel Adebayor scored twice in a 3-1 win at Swansea City.

Tim Sherwood's record now stands at five wins and a draw since the Englishman replaced sacked predecessor Andre Villas-Boas, Sport24 reports.

Swansea with an eighth successive league match without a win has left Michael Laudrup's men just three points above the relegation zone.
