Sri Lanka has reportedly called back spin bowler Ajantha Mendis for the upcoming two-Test series in Bangladesh after he missed the recent series against Pakistan.
Mendis will replace off-spinner Sachitra Senanayake in the 15-man squad for the Tests in Dhaka and Chittagong, with the first Test starting on January 27.
According to Sport24, the rest of the squad however, remains unchanged although batsman Lahiru Thirimanne, who returned home during the series against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to an ankle injury, has not recovered and is replaced by Kithuruwan Vithanage.
