Australia batsman Chris Rogers, who suffered a dizzy spell at Lord's, is fit to play the third Ashes Test against England after successfully undergoing a full net practice session on Monday, said team mate Mitchell Starc.
The 37-year-old was forced to retire hurt on 49 in the second innings of the Lord's Test. He was earlier struck on the helmet by a James Anderson delivery on the second day but kept on batting before he was dismissed on his Test-best 173.
Rogers, however, faced deliveries from pace-trio of Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood during a net session ahead of the third Ashes Test at Edgbaston, which starts from Wednesday.
Commenting on Rogers' fitness, Starc said that the batsman seemed to have come through pretty well and insisted that all reports suggest he is good to go, the BBC reported.
Australia will try to extend lead in the five-match series after thrashing England by 405 runs at Lord's to level the series 1-1.
