When Steve Harvey finally got the chance to meet and apologise to Miss Universe runner-up Ariadna Gutierrez about the infamous December incident, things got a little misty.
On his talk show, the 59-year-old comedian could not hold back his tears when he and Miss Colombia sat down face to face and talked forgiveness and possible lawsuits as Ariadna says she came close to taking his mansion, TMZ.com reported.
Harvey finally got the chance to apologize to Miss Colombia in person after mistakenly naming her Miss Universe, then having to correct himself and take the title away from her on live television last month. Gutierrez however said that she was almost close to taking his mansion, but now has changed her mind.
"I just wanted to say how sorry I am," Harvey tearfully said to Miss Colombia. "I am beyond sorry for what happened that night.'
Harvey also had the winner, Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, on the show, but she was never on the same stage as Gutierrez.
