South African T20 skipper Faf du Plessis has admitted that the upcoming three-match T20 international series against West Indies would be an ideal opportunity for his young squad to show their skills against world-class opposition.
Du Plessis said that it would be a really tough series for them as West Indies would play their full-strength team, adding that West Indies are probably the favorites on paper, Sport24 reported.
According to him, West Indies are the dominant T20 team in the world at the moment as they have full of match-winners.
However, he believes that the upcoming T20 series would see their young guys competing, which would make them players good for South African cricket.
