Stonehenge has been unveiled after the completion of the first phase of a 27m pounds rebuilding of facilities at the prehistoric site in Wiltshire.

English Heritage, which runs the site, is preparing to unveil its visitor centre, designed by Denton Corker Marshall, after 30 years of planning rows and archaeological controversy and will showcase hundreds of items originally found at Stonehenge, which had not been displayed earlier, the Guardian reported.

The visitor centre is situated a mile-and-a-half to the west of the stones.
