Taking a jibe at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ahead of his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP leader Satish Upadhyay on Tuesday alleged that the AAP boss is unaware of the ground realities as a result of which Delhi is lagging behind.
"Kejriwal ji makes big speeches but his behavior is opposite. He is not associated with Team India concept," Upadhyay told ANI.
The Delhi BJP chief further said that Kejriwal's comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi or any constitutional post does not suit the position which he holds.
"There should have been development in Delhi but it is lagging behind," he added.
Kejriwal will meet Prime Minister Modi this afternoon during which he is expected to discuss the ongoing power tussle with Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung.
Kejriwal, who is expected to meet Prime Minister Modi at around 12: 30 p.m. today, is also expected to discuss the issue surrounding transfer and posting of bureaucrats.
The AAP chief had earlier written a letter to Prime Minister Modi over the issue of transfer of bureaucrats in Delhi.
Kejriwal had in his letter said that the Centre is trying to run Delhi through the Lieutenant Governor.
