Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime mininsterial candidate Narendra Modi said Monday that the Congress is on the verge of collapse, and that the BJP wanted freedom from a party that was lying unwell in hospital, struggling even for oxygen.

"We want freedom from a government that is lying unwell in a hospital, surviving on oxygen

Some people have huge egos, if you say anything about them, they can't sleep unless they sow seeds of poison," said Modi.

"Under the leadership of the BJP, each alliance has been successful, and that the alliance has never faced trouble. It has been our tradition to move with everyone. Our aim isn't merely to be in power," he said.

"People of Bihar wanted freedom from jungle raj. Today, the entire country is under "Jungle Raj", and my friends from Bihar have to lead the country to get rid of this "Jungle Raj," he added.

He further said that there were 1900 schools in Bihar that existed only on paper.

"There are 1900 schools in Bihar that exist only on paper. In Patna, 90 schools are only on paper affecting the future of the children in Bihar. If money was being spent to solve this issue, schools would have been visible," Modi said.

"In Bihar, not even two percent of the schools have computers. The government is trying to sink the spirit of the youth. The age of technology is coming, but the first decade of the 21st century is over, and this is the situation of Bihar," he said.

"One minister declared he will get Akaash tablets for school students. When will that minister stop flying in the air and set his foot back on earth? Also, where did the money for the tablets go?" he asked.
