A 19-year-old motorcyclist who was stunting near the Parliament Street area in central Delhi was killed and another was injured after the Delhi Police opened fire to stop them.
According to reports, the incident occurred between 2 and 2.15 am at Windsor Palace in New Delhi when a group of bikers were involved in a confrontation with police officials trying to stop them from performing dangerous stunts on the roads.
The pillion rider was killed when a bullet fired by the police in an attempt to puncture the tyre of the bike hit him while the person driving the bike was injured.
Both were rushed to the RML hospital, where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
