A relative of the ninth standard boy of Gwalior's Scindia School, who reportedly attempted suicide yesterday in the school's premises, said today that they want the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh to order a high level inquiry into the matter.

The boy's uncle Vinod Kumar said, "The principal of the school had come and even Jyotiraditya Scindia had come. They have assured the family members that a thorough investigation will be carried out in this matter and those found guilty will be strictly prosecuted."

He further said, "But an unbiased investigation is not possible under the current principal of the school."

Kumar also informed that they have appealed to the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh to order a high level inquiry in this matter.

Yesterday, a ninth standard boy from Bihar studying in Scindia School of Gwalior had attempted suicide inside the school premises.

He was found lying on the floor in an unconscious state with marks on his neck and was admitted to Apollo Hospital.

Denying that the boy had tried to commit suicide, his uncle Brijesh Singh had said yesterday, "We don't think this was a suicide attempt. He has been studying in this school since three years. The school administration said that he hanged himself but this is not possible. The police should investigate the matter.
