Despite not being able to grab good reviews, American superhero film 'Suicide Squad' marked the top opening of all time for an August release.
The Warner Bros' movie has racked a whooping 135.1 million dollars post weekend.
Leaving behind the collections of 'Deadpool' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy', the David Ayer-helmed project has also done well overseas with a gross collection of 64.6 million dollars in the first three days of its release, reports The Independent.
Another fascinating fact that came out post its release is that women constituted 46 percent of first day's audience.
According to CinemaScore analysis, it's most likely due to the fact that Margot Robbie, one of the female leads, posed a central part of the stellar promotion campaign.
