Flag-waving disciples and supporters of self-styled guru Sant Rampalji Maharaj staged a peaceful march and protest outside the headquarters of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) here on Thursday.
Shouting slogans and waving protest banners, the supporters asked the NHRC to address their concerns over alleged maltreatment of their spiritual leader by the Haryana Government.
They called on the NHRC to send a team to probe the Satlok Ashram Case in an impartial manner.
It maybe recalled that the Satlok Ashram was attacked by the Arya Samaji Baldev Group in Haryana.
Supporters also demanded action against the police for failing to arrest any of the perpetrators who attacked the ashram on April 9, 2013.
They have also submitted a memorandum to the NHRC.
