The Supreme Court on Monday took former Board of Control for Cricket in India chief N Srinivasan to task for attending the body's working committee meeting despite orders to the contrary.

"On January 22, N Srinivasan was found guilty of conflict of interest... Therefore his right of voting or participation in any other BCCI meetings was debarred. On February 8, in Chennai in a BCCI meeting, he was found to participate as well as preside in the BCCI working committee meeting," Cricket Association of Bihar secretary and main petitioner in the Indian Premier League spot-fixing case, Aditya Verma, told the media.

"I have sent a legal content notice to the BCCI against four people and a content petition is filed. As a result, the Supreme Court questioned N. Srinivasan's lawyer for his client to be at variance to its order," he added.

In January, the Supreme Court had barred Srinivasan from contesting the BCCI elections due to the conflict-of-interest with regard to the IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings. The apex court, however, cleared the former BCCI chief for his alleged cover-ups in the spot-fixing case.
