Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been ranked as the world's best leader in handling domestic and international affairs by China's National Image Global Survey 2014.
The survey was conducted by the Centre for International Communication Studies of China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration and market research organisations, Millward Brown and Lightspeed GMI.
The survey polled over 4,500 respondents from nine countries, including the US, UK, Australia, Japan, South Africa, India, Russia, Brazil and China.
Chinese President Xi Jinping was ranked second in the survey.
