External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj held talks with the Special Envoy of President of the state of Palestine, Dr. Nabil Sha'ath here on Wednesday.
Swaraj in July asserted in parliament that India's policy on Palestine issue would remain unchanged.
She refused to take sides over the Gaza conflict, as she said Israel and Palestine should have peace talks.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government in July had voted in favour of a UN resolution to launch an inquiry into Israel's alleged war crimes in Gaza.
Since Modi came to power in May, ties between Israel and India have been in overdrive, with the two signing a series of defence and technology deals that have underscored their burgeoning commercial and political relationship.
India is now the largest buyer of Israeli military equipment, whileIsrael is India's largest customer after Russia.
