Campaigning for the first phase of elections in Jharkhand is reportedly gaining momentum.
The state will go to the polls on Tuesday.
According to media reports, major political parties are holding rallies, while smaller parties and Independent candidates are conducting nukkar or roundabout meetings and to door-to-door campaigns.
All tools of mass communication are reportedly being used for the poll campaign.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to address two rallies at Daltonganj and Chandwa on Tuesday.
Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan and BJP spokesman Shahnawaz Hussain addressed six rallies in different parts of the state on Wednesday.

State Chief Minister Hemant Soren and former chief minister and JVM leader Babulal Marandi have also been addressing rallies.
