The health condition of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who is presently undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), is said to be stable.
Swaraj, who was admitted to the AIIMS yesterday after she complained of chest pain, is undergoing treatment for fever and chest congestion with signs of pneumonia.
"Smt. Sushma Swaraj External Affairs Minister was admitted to AIIMS on April 25, 2016. She is under treatment for fever, chest congestion with features of pneumonia. A medical team of specialists is looking after her. Her current condition is stable," the AIIMS said in a statement.
64-year-old Swaraj was admitted to the AIIMS' pulmonary medicine department last evening but later shifted to the cardio-neuro centre at around 10 p.m.
