The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy terming Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students and professors as 'Naxalites' was a sign of his frustration.

"Subramanian Swamy's frustration is evident from this. If you want the coming generations to respect you, then you must do well," AAP leader Dilip Pandey told ANI.

"There is an institute in Delhi called Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology. Delhi's popular government's cabinet has passed this proposal to convert it into University. If you really respect Netaji, then you would have accepted that proposal and the institute would have become a University by now," he added.

Pandey further said, "You do good and new work. What you are doing is not right. It shows your dual mentality."

Speaking on his recommendation to change the name of JNU to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose University, Subramanian Swamy had said that Bose was far more educated as compared to Nehru.
