A second suspect has been arrested by Swedish Police in connection with the Stockholm truck attack.
The suspect was arrested by the Swedish Police and the Swedish Security Service on Sunday evening, according to a statement issued by the police.
"I can confirm that one person was arrested in connection with this investigation," Xinhua news agency quoted Simon Bynert, a spokesperson for the Swedish Security Service, as saying.
Earlier, a suspect of the Stockholm truck attack had confessed of committing a 'terrorist crime'.
Rakhmat Akilov, 39, had admitted to committing a terrorist crime, his lawyer Johan Eriksson told a court in Stockholm.
He is suspected of driving a stolen truck into pedestrians on a busy street in central Stockholm before crashing into a department store. Four people were killed and 15 others injured.
Akilov was arrested several hours after the a lorry rammed into a crowd of people in central Stockholm.
Swedish police had also claimed that the suspect arrested in connection with the attack on a crowd of people in central Stockholm is from Uzbekistan and known to security services.
