Swedish prosecutors have said that they would travel to London to interrogate Wikileaks founder Julian Assange over sexual assault allegations.
According to BBC, the prosecutors earlier sought to question the Wikileaks founder in Sweden after seeking his arrest in 2010.
Assange has been denying sexual assault accusations and has been living at the Ecuadorean embassy in London since 2012.
Assange fears that if he is sent to Sweden he could be extradited to the United States to face charges of leaking documents.
A lawyer for Assange has welcomed the move by Sweden saying that he was willing to cooperate in this interrogation and this is a victory for him.
The lead Swedish prosecutor said that an interview with Assange at the Ecuadorean embassy in London would "lower the quality of the interview".
