Sylvester Stallone, who has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor award at the Oscars, recently revealed that at one point he considered boycotting the awards due to lack of diversity in nominations.
The 69-year-old actor said that after he received his nomination, he consulted director Ryan Coogler about whether he should attend the awards or not, reports People magazine.
Stallone said that he told Coogler that he is responsible for him being there and if he doesn't want him to go he won't. But the 'Creed' director told Stallone that he wants him to go and stand for the film.
Many felt Coogler and 'Creed' star Michael B. Jordan were snubbed by the Academy voters this year. But Stallone believes that things will change for the better in the future.
