An American arms manufacturer that supplied weapons for 'Taken 3' has openly criticized and has boycotted the film's lead actor Liam Neeson for blaming terror attacks on the lack of gun control in the US and abroad.
PARA USA stated that it regrets providing guns to the filmmakers and that it will no longer work with Neeson or films he appears in, the Daily Express reported.
Comments made by Neeson reflected a cultural and factual ignorance that undermines support of the Second Amendment and American liberties, so they urged other Hollywood partners to restrain themselves from providing firearms to Neeson's future projects, the statement further added.
The Irish star was speaking to Gulf News in the wake of the Paris shootings when he said that there's too many f****** guns out there, especially in America, which was a disgrace according to the actor.
