Benedict Cumberbatch has revealed that although it is flattering to get compliments it is something that he had never anticipated.

During the Toronto Film Festival, the 37-year-old actor said that he was grateful for the opportunities he has had, but the talk of being a sex symbol or a star is very alien to him, the Daily Express reported.
