The Sri Lankan Navy on Thursday apprehended four Indian fishermen and seized a boat from the coast of Jegathapattinam in Tamil Nadu's Pudukkottai.
The fishermen were apprehended for allegedly fishing very close to the island nation and they were taken to Karainagar along with their boat, according to the reports.
Earlier in August, the Sri Lankan Navy apprehended four Tamil Nadu fishermen along with a country boat near Punkudi Island.
On September 12, 12 Indian fishermen, who were apprehended and remanded to Jaffna jail up to September 26, were produced before the court.
