Tom Ellis, who recently got separated from his wife of seven-years, Tamzin Outhwaite, has confessed to being unfaithful to the 42-year-old during their marriage.
The couple vowed to remain friends after issuing a statement revealing their marriage was over, just a year after the birth of their second child, the Mirror reported.
A source told the publication that Outhwait is distraught, as she thought Ellis was the perfect husband.
The insider said that after the duo agreed to separate, they had a long heart-to-heart and he admitted he had been unfaithful during their marriage.
Meanwhile, the source asserted that Ellis, best known for playing Dr Oliver Cousins in EastEnders, had confessed to a "brief fling" with another woman and that it was his decision to walk out on the marriage, not Outhwaite's.
