American pop star Taylor Swift has secured a legal victory in an ongoing sexual assault trial against ex-radio host David Mueller.
U.S. District Judge William Martinez dismissed Muller's claim against Swift on Friday, claiming that he could not prove the pop star ruined his career over allegations that he groped her during a concert in 2013, reports E! News.
Mueller, 55, had sued the pop star for $ 3m, saying that the 27-year-old cost him his job.
The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker countersued the DJ for allegedly groping her after she agreed to pose for a photo with him and his girlfriend.
His claim was dismissed on Friday in a Denver court.
The District Judge ruled that Swift was not liable, as Mueller had not proved that she personally set out to have him fired after the 2013 photo-op.
The judge cited lack of evidence and witness testimony.
The alleged assault occurred in 2013 during a Denver stopover on the singer's Red tour.
As of now, the 'Black Space' hitmaker has not commented publically on the ruling.
