Taylor Swift's longtime publicist has parted ways with the pop star after working with her for nearly seven years.
Paula Erickson, whose Nashville-based Erickson Public Relations has handled the singer's press since 2007, informed the 24-year-old singer's management team that she is resigning come mid-March, Billboard reported.
Erickson started handling Swift, as her debut album in 2006 was about to cross the million-sales mark and continued on through 2012's 'Red,' which sold about 1.2 million in its first week (according to Nielsen SoundScan).
A top PR executive said that Swift will have her pick of top-shelf publicists, but the challenge is to find that person she knows and trust.
