A day after Rabri Devi alleged that her son Tejashwi Yadav was not allowed to meet Lalu Yadav in jail, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday termed it as a political conspiracy while asserting that it has been done on the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"This is a political conspiracy. This all has been done on the feedback of Sushil Modi and Nitish Kumar, and on the instructions of Narendra Modi. Have you seen anything like this anywhere?" Tejashwi asked.

Former chief minister Rabri Devi on Saturday alleged that Tejashwi was not allowed to meet Lalu Yadav in jail and that the life of her husband, the Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) chief is in danger.

"What is the reason that has been giving citing law and order? Will the law and order situation deteriorate if three persons meet Lalu ji? Tejaswi asked.

Speaking to reporters here, the RJD leader said: "People are not letting him get the treatment. Doctors are saying that he is not allowed to be shifted from one room to another for the test. Who will be accountable for this? What is this mentality?"

"If they do something more, people will come to streets and then they will run away crying 'baap baap'," he said.

Earlier, Rabri had said: "Tejashwi went to meet Lalu ji today but he was not allowed to meet him. People of Bihar and Jharkhand will take to the roads if anything happens to him. If state and central government want to kill him by poisoning, if they want to kill the entire Lalu family, they can do that, but this dictatorship won't work."

Tejashwi Yadav had on April 7 alleged that the BJP government did not permit him to meet his father Lalu Prasad, who is admitted in the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).
