Expressing concern over the recent tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran after the execution of Shia scholar Sheikh Nimr al Nimr, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said the Muslim World faces grave dangers in the present situation that has risen in wake of the conflict.

Aziz said that national interest would be given priority in context of the diplomatic row in Middle East and called for a peaceful resolution to the tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran, reports the Dawn.

Aziz advocated that Pakistan will continue to play its role to ease tensions between the two sides to promote unity among the Muslims countries.
