Entertainment company, The Orchard has acquired the US rights of Ari Gold directorial, 'The Song of Sway Lake'.
As confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, the distributor will release the film in theaters on September 21 and on Digital HD, and on VOD on September 25.
The film revolves around a young man's quest for a long-lost jazz record and his plans to steal the valuable.
Rory Culkin has played the young man and Robert Sheehan has acted as Culkin's accomplice. Mary Beth Peil is also seen in a pivotal role.
The jazz-infused drama is written by Gold himself, in collaboration with Elizabeth Bull. The film is produced by Grack Film's Gold, Allison Rose Carter, Michael Bederman, and Social Construct's Zak Kilberg.
The film was launched at the recent Cannes Film Festival by Kew Media Group.
