The 'Other' Love Story because love happens!

New Delhi, Feb. 26(ANI): In an era, wherein people are living in the virtual reality and internet space, Roopa Rao has come up with her web-series that talks about the much hyped topic in our society, homosexuality.

Talking about her web series 'The 'Other' Love Story' to ANI, Roopa said, "It is web series of 12 episodes. The story is set in the 90's era in an urban Indian city, when our world was yet not exposed to the infinite world of the web or the virtual one of the mobile phones."

"The era that still rejoiced in handwritten love letters and conversations over land lines, the era when you discovered things only by experiencing them up close without logging them into google or youtube...that is the era when Aadya and Aachal fell in love," she added.

Roopa revealed that her web series is a story of Aadya and Aachal's journey into each other's hearts and the drama that surrounds it forms.

The director further said that this is her attempt to dilute the taboo of same-sex love by portraying how an innocent, original, intense love story transcends gender and conquers hearts, adding that this is an organic approach to a tabooed concept is something many have appreciated and welcomed.

Further, talking about Supreme Court's judgment to set a five judge panel after re-opening the case of decriminalizing section 377, Roopa said, "I don't think there can be any law to tell anyone who should they fall in love with. Love happens!"
