Following the recent announcement by OnePlus of its collaboration with acclaimed French fashion designer, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac launched "Callection", an exclusive line of products co-created with JCC, which includes a limited-edition design of the company's flagship phone, the OnePlus 5 JCC+.
In celebration of the collaboration, OnePlus will host pop-up events in Paris on September 22.
As a fashion pioneer, Castelbajac has been redefining the frontiers of art and fashion since the 1980s, when he first asked artists to paint his dresses. The exclusive "Callection", made up of holsters, bags, caps, t-shirts, and a limited-edition OnePlus 5 design, is reflective of Castelbajac's signature, chromatic style.
"We're always looking to try new things with partners who embody the Never Settle spirit. It's been great collaborating with an icon like Jean-Charles Castelbajac, who is continuously bringing game-changing ideas to the fashion industry," said Carl Pei, Co-founder and Head of Global, OnePlus.
Known among his peers as the 'King of Unconventional', Castelbajac challenges the conventions of design, just as OnePlus challenges the conventions of the smartphone industry. The unique and contemporary collection is the product of two like-minded disruptors working together.
"I always like looking towards the future. To change the world, you always need to be creative and work with people who are ahead of their time," said Castelbajac
To kick off the "Callection", OnePlus teamed up with iconic fashion boutique, colette to host a pop-up event at its retail store in Paris on September 22 at 11.00 a.m. CET. The line will be also available EU wide for purchase at OnePlus.net.
Through this collaboration, OnePlus once again demonstrates its commitment and willingness to share the best technology with the world, offering exceptional functionality for a unique experience.
The exclusive Castelbajac inspired OnePlus 5 device, with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage and a dual camera, will be available to buy only in Europe from October 2 online at OnePlus.net for 559 EUR / 499 GBP.
In India, the accessories line will be available for purchase via OnePlusstore.in or through referral points on OnePlusstore.in, starting at October 2. Customers will be able to buy limited edition "Callection" and "Never Settle" T-shirts for Rs. 1,999 and a tote bag for Rs. 1,599.
More accessories, such as baseball cap which are part of an exclusive concept accessories line bringing the worlds of technology and fashion closer together, will be available at a later date via limited drops.
