A unique blend of communal and social harmony is being witnessed in the state capital, were a Muslim man named Irshaad Ali whose faith and devotion towards Goddess Durga is such that it astonishes many.
Ali who works with the Uttar Pradesh Police, offers prayers in the Kali Badi temple of Goddess Durga located at Muslim Bahulya Chowk every year during the auspicious occasion of Navratri.
"After these nine goddess is the mother who gave birth to us. This is my 14th fair. Every year I get duty in the fair organised on the occasion of Dussehra. Whenever I get time, I visit the temple," said Ali.
Not only Ali, number of Muslims offers prayers every year in this temple of Goddess Durga in the ancient temple of the city which indicate a true spirit of unity and integrity between the various community of the nation.
