'Titli' is all set to be screened at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival in the 'Un Certain Regard' category.

During a press conference held in Mumbai recently, director Kanu Behl talked about the film and said, "It's about the journey of a young boy called 'Titli', who wants to escape from his violent oppressive brother and the things he does to get out of the house and get away from these people that he hates."

Dibakar Banerjee, who co-produced the movie with Yash Raj Films said, "Cannes is not just a festival but also a market and if we get selected there, international doors will open for 'Titli'.
