The Trinamool Congress (TMC) MPs on Monday staged a walk out in the Lok Sabha seeking statement from the government on a reported recovery of a diary from Sahara chief Subrata Roy figuring the name of BJP President Amit Shah.
As soon as the House met, the TMC MPs raised the issue and demanded suspension of the Question Hour.
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan rejected the motion quoting rules which prompted the TMC MPs to stage a walk out expressing their dissatisfaction.
Earlier, the Trinamool Congress MPs also protested outside Parliament demanding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should give a clarification over Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah's alleged links with the Sahara group.
