Tom Cruise has strongly rebuffed claims that he chose to spend time with his rumored girlfriend and 'Knight and Day' co-star Cameron Diaz over his daughter Suri, following his split with Katie Holmes.
According to Radar Online, in the deposition of the defamation case against a magazine publisher, which had claimed that the 51-year-old actor had abandoned Suri after his divorce with Holmes, Cruise was asked if he attended Diaz's birthday party in London in 2012.
The 'Top Gun' star vehemently denied the claim, adding that "you can't believe everything you read in the press".
However, the defendant's lawyer pressed on, asserting that the duo were photographed together on Diaz's 40th birthday, but Cruise denied this claim too, asserting that photographs do not tell a story.
